📜Secure Boot

Having trouble running Pandora Services tools? Disabling Secure Boot is often required for full compatibility! 🛠️

❓ What is Secure Boot?

Secure Boot is a security feature in your computer’s BIOS/UEFI that helps protect your system from unauthorized software. However, it can sometimes block advanced tools like Pandora Services.

🔍 How to Check Secure Boot Status

  1. Press Windows + R, type msinfo32, and hit Enter.

  2. In the System Information window, look for Secure Boot State.

    • If it says Off/Disabled – you’re all set! ✅

    • If it says On/Enabled – follow the steps below to disable it. ❌

🛠️ How to Disable Secure Boot

  1. Restart your PC and enter BIOS/UEFI settings. (Usually by pressing F2, F10, DEL, or ESC during startup – check your screen for the right key!) 🔑

  2. Find the Secure Boot option (usually under “Boot” or “Security” tab).

  3. Set Secure Boot to Disabled.

  4. Save changes and exit BIOS/UEFI (usually F10).

  5. Boot back into Windows and check the status again.

❗ Troubleshooting

  • Can’t find the option? Check your motherboard or laptop manual, or search “[your PC model] disable Secure Boot” online.

  • Some systems may require you to set a supervisor/admin password in BIOS before you can change Secure Boot settings.

  • If you’re dual-booting with Linux, disabling Secure Boot may be required for some distributions.
